Introduction to Photography

This course is aimed at those wishing to improve their knowledge of
photography, this course offers a very hands on and practical approach to
learning the basics of photography. The course will cover basic principles
of exposure, composition and the use of lighting. This course will allow
you to gain mastery over camera controls and functions.

An SLR style digital camera with manual controls is required for this course.

Introduction to Adobe Photoshop

This four week course will take you through the steps needed to
successfully work with your images or art work using Adobe Photoshop in a
technically proficient and creative way. The course provides the basic
concepts and techniques, from getting your images off the camera into
Photoshop for processing and finally printing. Over the duration of the
course you will learn how to use basic image editing tools covering
document settings and formats,sizing of images for various output methods,
colour correction, cropping, making simple selections, retouching and an
introduction to the layers palette.
