My human roz has been doing my work for far too long now ( hear hear ~ roz)  as I was recovering from my accident, however, now I am back with a woofgence and have decided to start a featured wicklow location every week.

So this week we are featuring the ever popular Glendalough!:

Glendalough-Glen Dha Loch – (glen of two lakes) Wicklow
Woof!- Visiting Glendalough, Wicklow:
Glendalough (meaning glen of two lakes)- often mispelt glendaloch is part of the Wicklow Mountains National Park and is the most visited part of that park.

Its’ main attractions are the stunning scenery of this glacial valley and the monastic site of St Kevin which rests here. Many tourists find it hard to spell usually coming out with something like glendarlok! And who can blame them?

Accommodation in the area is plentiful with a well run hostel, hotels, b&b’s and guesthouses all catering to the needs of the many tourists and visitors who flock to this attraction throughout the year.
There is a bustling Farmers Market held in the car park of the Brockagh resource centre (Laragh) every 2nd Sunday
