Wicklow Nights out

Fancy a night out sans alcohal? tired of pub prices?

Why not check out Greystones’ Theatres’ new formula for a fun night that won’t cost the earth!!

The guys at Greystones theatre are operating a non-alcohal serving service however, you can bring your own alcohal once you have become a member for a measly €5.. They need name, address, email, mobile, and a photo(not a passport, just some way to identify everyone)…see details below:

Recently, there has been a lot of talk about www.greystonestheatre.com maybe too much talk, as his royal Bononess might put it, but we don’t think you can ever talk too much about www.greystonestheatre.com – especially now.

We at www.greystonestheatre.com recognise how tough it is out there at the moment and as it is our job to bring together performer and audience as part of our role as cultural guardians to the people of Greystones and beyond (as far as Rathnew and Ballybrack). We now want to announce how beautifully splendid a direction we are guiding www.greystonestheatre.com

From 1st October we will no longer be serving Alcohol, BOOOOOOOOOO, BUT WAIT instead you can now BRING YOUR OWN!!!!!! YEEEEEEEEAAAAYYYYYY!!!

So no longer do you have the excuse that its too expensive to go out, no longer the excuse that you have to sit at home and binge on cheap drink and wait till the last minute to go out and fall into some shady establishment, no longer do you have to rely on The Late Late Show to entertain you (sorry Ryan),

No longer do you have to watch Winning Steak praying that you get drawn and at the same time praying that you don’t, after watchin’ the contestants friends and family make the good people of Ireland look like, well the people of Ireland when hang sandwiches were the national food and not a band from Kells.

No longer will your cultural intake for the week consist of three nobodies you’ve never heard of waffling on about nothing, while John Kelly wishes he was munchin’ on a hang sandwich with a smidgin of dijon. (secretly we love The View)

With this new departure, we will still offer the best of what’s out there in entertainment.

Our BYOB policy requires you to become a member by emailing us your details and a request to become a member.

We will issue all details of membership requirements and a detailed schedule of events coming up.

Remember this is Your Theatre and your culture and taste is reflected here, please forward any suggestions and we’ll do all we can to bring it to you.

We’d also like to remind anyone who doesn’t wish to sign up for the BYOB membership that our regular events are still open to all who just wish to come and experience them without alcohol.

We will also be hosting absolutely no alcohol late night dance events which will require membership. We hope our new vision for the space excites your interest and look forward to welcoming you over the coming months.

To start us off this Friday we have SavingJ, Stylus and Flowstone playing live, followed by a very special DJ set from DAVID KITT. This is going to start at 10 and go into the wee hours, please see website for details www.greystonestheatre.com

nice one guys- sign me up!
