Wicklow Aromatherapy Massage Therapist based in Ashford

fionas-therapiesI simply could not type yesterday I was so relaxed after a wonderful massage from Fiona’s Massage Therapies in Ashford Co Wicklow. So today I will share my experience.

I booked an Indian Head Massage and an Aromatherapy back massage with Fiona of Fiona’s Massage Therapies. Fiona is based in Ashford Business centre which is located in the same building as Ashford house etc so you can park easily in the Ashford house car park and the business centre entrance is a brown door.

First of all Fiona and myself had a chat about what aches and pains I had and she noted all these alongwith what I hoped to gain from my Massage experience. In my case I have a lot of tension around my shoulders and neck from this dear website and I also suffer from occasional migraines.

With this in mind Fiona then selected a variety of Aromatherapy oils for my Massage that we mixed and matched until I found a scent that I really liked, which was coriander, grapefruit and frankincense which Fiona explained were all related to stress relief and positive energy – Perfect!

Fiona found the areas that have been giving me trouble – even the really stubborn muscles that refused to allow her to work on them…eventually they gave in thanks to her clever massage manipulation and she even found my migraine ‘button’ as such! well she was able to release all the tension out of my left shoulder blade to neck area and it felt amazing when it ‘popped’.

Fiona also used some jasmine oil for my facial massage and to answered any questions I had along the way.

All in all it was a gorgeous experience and a welcome relief. I shall definately be back again and will be buying Aromatherapy and Sports Massage vouchers for the lucky ones this Christmas!!

Fiona has over 20 years experience in Massage Therapy, is a member of  ITEC and the Irish Massage Therapists Association and is always looking for new skills, ways to introduce people to the benefits of massage and the joys of Aromatherapy oils.

Many of Fionas customers are men who practice sports , pregnant women looking for some back, ankle and shoulder relief and of course stressed out computer nerds like me!!!  Fiona is well versed in the essential oils and fully qualified to give expert advice and personalised Aromatherapeutic Massage to suit your needs.

Fionas Massage Therapies also offer some wonderful unique and personal Christmas gifts ideal for him and her with bath salts infused with oils, body lotion and massage oil packs made to order.

Gift vouchers are also available and I personally can highly recommend her.

Treatments available at Fionas Massage Therapies include:

  • Indian Head Massage
  • Hopi Ear Candle
  • Massage
  • Aromatherapy
  • Deep Tissue Massage
  • Thai Foot Massage
  • Hot & Cold Stone Massage
  • Tropical Aroma Massage
  • Seated Acupuncture Chair Massage
  • Pregnancy and Infant Massage
  • Facial Rejuvenation
  • Mobile Service also available.

You can visit Fionas Massge Therapies  here >>

Tinahely Stock Exchange

Don’t let the recession cramp your style.

At the Tinahely Stock Exchange on Sunday 14 November at 3pm at the Tinahely Community Hall, you can swop your good quality gently used clothes, shoes and accessories for some new (to you) items.

Dig out those dinosaurs in your wardrobe, maybe something you bought for a big event and haven’t worn since, items that no longer fit you or suit your lifestyle, heels if you’re never out of flats these days. You’ll feel better clearing the clutter and enjoy some new outfits for Christmas and it’s all in a good cause, Tinahely Community Development.

Bring your items in advance to the GAA building opposite the Tinahely Community Hall on Saturday 6th and 13th November between 2 and 4pm. You’ll get your trading vouchers there and then so will be able to start shopping right away at the event, without having to get through the goods inward process.

We won’t swop mens’ for ladies’ so let the gents bring their own and pick a few fresh items. Don’t forget, everything must be clean and in very good condition. Light evidence of wear is acceptable. Damaged, dirty or scruffy items will not be accepted.

For queries tel Tina at 0402 38481
