Hollywood Notes Dec 6th 2010

WINTER WONDERLAND – DONARD

Santa was very disappointed that he was unable to host the Winter Wonderland in Donard on the 5th December due to the weather conditions.

However there is still an opportunity to meet the man himself on Sunday the 12th and Sunday the 19th December at the Winter Wonderland in Donard. He is really looking forward to seeing lots of children.

Do come along and enjoy the Winter Wonderland experience and at the same time support two very worthy local causes.

Senior Citizens

The Senior Citizens Christmas party has been deferred to Thursday Dec 16th in the Hollywood Inn at 3.30pm. Invitations sent out still stand.

Santa’s Visit

Santa has now rescheduled his visit to Hollywood and will be visiting on Sunday next Dec 12th from 12 noon to 2pm.

Monster Bingo

The Monster Bingo due to take place in the Hollywood Centre next Sunday Dec 12th, has been deferred to the New Year due to weather conditions. More details later.

Weekly Bingo

At the moment it looks like the Bingo this Thursday will be cancelled. Please listen to KFM , nearer to the time, for further updates.

Lotto Draw

The Lotto Draw which had to be cancelled last Thursday due to Weather conditions, will now take place this Thursday.

ICA Guild

The ICA Christmas Party has been cancelled due to weather conditions. A new date has yet to be decided.

Hollywood GAA

All quiet in Hollywood due to the severe weather conditions.

Hollywood’s representatives on with county teams for 2011 include Keith Traynor,Mikey Healy,Niall Clarke and Andrew Corrigan all still on trials for the minors,with Ciaran Tyrell on the U21 squad and Tony Hannon on the Senior panel.

We have yet to refix our AGM and will not be doing so until road conditions improve.

Last weeks Leinster Intermediate Final was postponed and may be played next weekend, if it is, we would like to wish Ballymore the best of luck.
