St Patricks Day Parade Arklow

St Patrick’s Day Parade in Arklow starts at 3pm on the Wexford Road at Super Value. The parade then continues down Mellows Avenue , Abbey Street, up lower Main Street finishing at upper Main Street.

The viewing stand is at the Courthouse, Upper Main Street.

St Patricks Day Parade Greystones

St. Patricks Day Parade in Greystones commences at 12 noon at the park and ride car park on the main Street. The parade will travel to the South Beach, onto church Road and then on to the old Cinema.

The reviewing stand will be located at St. Patrick’s Church.

St Patricks Day Parade Wicklow Town

WICKLOWS TOWN ST. PATRICKS PARADE
The 2011 St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place on Thursday March 17th.

The Parade will commence at 3.15pm at Whitegates taking the route up through Main Street Wicklow Town as far as Market Square.

The Review Stand will be located at Fitzwilliam Square.

KILCOOLE PRIMARY SCHOOL QUIZ

There will be a table quiz run by the Parents Association of KilcoolePrimary School on Thursday 3rd March in the Millroom, Byrnes Pub.  Allsupport is greatly appreciated.

EASTER EGG FUNDRAISING

The coffee morning to raise money to buy 100 Easter Eggs for Newcastlehospital was a great success.  Many thanks to everyone who supported it.

Hollywood Notes February 28th 2011

Dates to Remember

First Holy Communion, Saturday 14th May.  Pilgrimage to Mass Rock on Sunday 29th May.  Cemetary Sunday on 12th June at 3.30pm.  Hollywood Sports and Field Day on Sunday 10th July.

Lenten Masses

Daily morning Mass from Monday to Friday at 9am.  Also, there will be an evening Mass every Tuesday at 8pm.  Stations of the Cross will be on Fridays at 8pm.

School Enrolment

Enrolment forms are now available in the school office for parents who wish to enrol their child for September 2011 in Scoil Chaoimhin Naofa Hollywood. Enrolment will take place on Monday 7th, Wednesday 9th and Friday 11th March 2011 between 9.30am and 3.30pm.  A copy of the child’s Birth Certificate must be furnished.  Where a child has been Baptised outside the Parish  (Hollywood/Ballymore Eustace) a copy of their Baptismal Certificate must also be furnished.

Hip Hop

Classes in Hip Hop in the Hollywood Centre every Friday afternoon .  Age 4-10yrs from 4-5pm and 10yrs and up from 5-6pm.  There are some places available.  For information or to book a place please contact Sinead on 087 2924559.   New students always welcome.

Lotto Draw

The numbers drawn in last week’s Lotto Draw were: 8,12,14,19.  No winner.  The €20 winners were: Geraldine Brophy, Dunlavin.  Maureen Traynor, Lugglass, Hollywood.  Ann Clancy, Slievecorragh, Hollywood.  The Laura Greaves Bursary, Hollywood.  Pat Carroll, Hollywood.  The next draw is on March 10th in the Hollywood Centre.  Next Jackpot is €7,600.

Readers Workshop

A Diocesan Workshop has been organised for the Ministers of the Word in this area.  It will take place in the Parish Centre (beside the Church) in Kilcullen next Saturday, March 5th, from 10.30am to 12.30pm.  all who are interested are welcome to attend.

Hollywood Parents Association

A Social Night Out to the Ivy , Rathangan, Co Kildare has been organised by Hollywood Parents Association on Friday April 8th at 7pm.  Meet at 6pm at Hollywood Church for Car Pooling. Tickets limited.  Cost €40.  Includes Cocktail on Arrival.  Cookery Demonstration.  Delicious 3 Course Meal.  Closing Date March 16th.  35% of Ticket Price in aid of Hollywood N.S.  Your support is greatly appreciated.

Hollywood Social

The Hollywood Community Development Association are holding their annual Social Night in the Community Centre on Saturday March 12th at 8pm.  Tickets €20, available from Hostesses.  Music by Mary Darcy Trio.

Hollywood ICA

Hollywood ICA Guild Meeting is on Thursday evening at 8pm.  This month’s meeting has a French Theme.  All are welcome.
