Dates to Remember

First Holy Communion, Saturday 14^th May.  Pilgrimage to Mass Rock on Sunday 29^th May.  Cemetery Sunday is on 12^th June at 3.30pm.  Hollywood Sports and Field Day on Sunday 10^th July.

Lenten Masses

Daily morning Mass from Monday to Friday at 9am.  Also, there will be an evening Mass every Tuesday at 8pm.  Stations of the Cross will be on Fridays at 8pm.  Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the Lenten Morning Masses as the school makes allowances for this during Lent.

Primary School Social Night

The Hollywood Parent’s Association has arranged a Social Night in The Ivy, Rathdangan, Co Kildare on Friday April 8^th at 7pm.  For further information please contact Elaine McSweeney (087 6460855) or Cepta Halpin (087 2497669).

Bingo

Bingo will take place in the Hollywood Centre on Thursday evening at the usual time of 8.30pm.

Parish Office

A reminder that the Parish Office is open form Monday to Friday, usually 9.30am to 1.30pm.  the Easter and First Communion Stock are now available, as well as many other items such as Rosary Beads, Candles, etc.

KILCOOLE PRIMARY SCHOOL QUIZ

The annual school raffle and Senior school fundraising table quiz takes place on Thursday 14th April at 8.30 in the Mill Room. €25 per table of four. Donations of spot prizes and raffle prizes are gratefully accepted.

KILCOOLE SENIOR CITIZENS ANNUAL 300 CLUB

The winners of the 4th draw were Mary Whelan, Russell Gallagher and James Gallagher. The winners of the 5th draw are Pauline Grant, Margie Rennix and Willie Donnelly.

SET DANCING

There will be a set dancing night in the Millroom, Byrne’s Pub, on Wednesday 23rd March, starting at 9.00 p.m. with music from the O’Kanes. Set Dancing classes continue every Wednesday from 8.00 – 9.30 in the Millroom.

KILCOOLE COMMUNITY THRIFT SHOP

The shop is located on Penny Lane, off Main Street. We are open from 11-5 Tuesday to Friday, and 11-2 on Saturdays. We gratefully accept donations of clean family clothing, books, bric-a-brac and household items. No electrical items please. Each month we make a donation to a local group or charity. Please call in for a browse, and support local initiative.

MARKET & CAR BOOT SALE

The next Market/Car boot sale takes place on Sunday 1st May from 12-4 p.m at Byrnes Pub carpark and the Millroom. Spaces inside and out are priced at €10. No vans or snack-wagons please.
