SCS Web Design Wicklow Copy Our work without permission

Well, they say imitation is the best form of flattery but copying and pasting entire blog posts from our website to put on their own and sign them off as being from them? well That’s not really cricket in my book!

SCS web design based in Arklow have recently copied two of our blog posts and who can blame them?

Helen Pullen, Our wicklow Arts contributor has a lovely way with words and our Wednesday 8 dec post: http://thewicklowway.ie/blog/2010/12/08/wicklow-artist-on-winter/ was duly copied without permission and reposted on their blog the following day (9th dec):http://blog.scs-webdesign.com/2010/12/09/wicklow-artist-on-winter/ alongwith our santa info for laragh posted by us on friday 10th dec http://thewicklowway.ie/blog/2010/12/10/santa-in-laragh-this-sunday-wicklow-news/ and again, reposted by them on the 11th dec without permission or even a mention of where they took this text word-for-word from: http://blog.scs-webdesign.com/2010/12/11/santa-in-laragh-this-sunday/

I would have appreciated if they had asked if they could repost it and would at expect, at the very least a link back to our blog with full credit given to us….

come on guys, it’s never too late!

UPDATE 17 dec: I see that they have now taken down the above mentioned posts leaving them with a 404 error page. Still no apology tho…
