Arklow Communities Together Exhibition Tells All

An exciting exhibition  will be held on Tuesday 13th November 2012 in Arus Lorcain Arklow.

As an increasing number of people are being made redundant, asked to work shorter hours, taking early retirement or finding it difficult to secure employment, we decided -in response to this situation - that an exhibition showing people what Arklow has to offer and the many ways they might use their time for the benefit of themselves and their community would be positive initiative.

The exhibition will feature 5 main strands:

  • Services to the community – from further education to information on rights and entitlements.
  • Sports and Recreation – from football clubs to bridge clubs
  • Arts and Crafts – from drama groups to church choirs
  • Environmental Initiatives – from community gardens to protecting our heritage
  • Volunteering Opportunities – from making tea to providing strategic advice.

The exhibition will run from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm and tea and coffee will be provided through-out the day.( Tuesday 13th November)
