So the votes have been counted and  the results have been confirmed. Congratulations to all who made it..

Let’s hope Wicklow will get some beneficial focus in 2011 in particular perhaps with regard to making the most of our Tourism potential and helping Businesses to make use of technology for maximum returns.

Candidates for Wicklow – Election 2011

The General Election takes place friday 25th February 2011. If you are 18 on or before February 15th you are eligible to vote.

From 1 November each year, you can see if your name is on the Register of Electors  at your local:

• post office,
• garda station,
• library
• city or county council office

You can check if you are registered on www.checktheregister.ie by keying in your name and address. If you are registered you can also see the location of your local polling station – so get voting!
