The third annual Midsummers 10KM Run, supporting Greystones Cancer Support, is a magical race around the beautifully landscaped Killruddery House & Gardens estate in Bray, Co Wicklow (www.killruddery.com), taking place at 7:00pm on Tuesday 26th June 2012, right in the heart of the summer.

The Venue
With a stunning location nestled between the Sugar Loaf Mountain and Dublin Bay, Killruddery House & Gardens is one of Ireland’s best kept secrets. Widely known as the “Gateway to the Garden of Ireland”.

The Course
The 10KM course will be the same as in 2011, starting in front of the magnificient Killruddery House, one of the most successfully restored EIizabethan-Revival mansions in Ireland.

The course is primarily an off-road trail course – the perfect opportunity to get off the pavement and add variety to your run training. Instead of cars and noisy traffic, you will have the pleasant sight of Killruddery’s farm livestock in the neighbouring fields! We recommend that you wear trail runners because, if the course is wet, you may lose traction if you’re wearing normal road runners.

Entry Fee

• Early Bird 10K Reg Price = €16. Available to the first 100 individuals to sign up
• Regular 10K Reg Price = €19
• Walk / Jog 5K Reg Price = 15
• Closing date for online registrations is 23:59 on Wednesday 20th June.
• You will also be able to register for €20 cash on the night between 17:30 and 18:30.

HELL & BACK WINTER RUN- SUN 29TH JAN 2012

After the huge success of the first adventure run in October, where over 600 lunatics hauled themselves around the grueling 10K course, Alive Outside has launched HELL & BACK Winter, which will take place in Killruddery Estate, Bray, Co Wicklow on Sunday 29th January.

This body-aching adventure race is guaranteed to push your physical and mental capacities to bursting point and truly is Ireland’s Toughest 10k Challenge!

The Winter version promises to be even tougher than before, as you have to cope with new even harder challenges, as well as the ice-cold, rain-sodden weather conditions. Plus you will get wet…very wet!
