The brockagh Resource Centre is also the home to Farmers Market (2nd Sunday of Every Month, 11am – 4pm) and Craft Fairs throughout the year.  This is a very friendly and cosy market even in the rain as it has an indoor area with hot tea for sale and the Christmas market is especially festive!

Sweetbank Farm

Rathnew
Co Wicklow
june to Sept

A very popular and family friendly place to visit in Newcastle is Sweetbank Farm located on the road to Rathnew. This idyllic looking fruit farm offers the visitor fresh farm produce such as apple juice and jams plus seasonal treasures to buy at very reasonable prices.

The courtyard setting and lazy sun-trapped stall betray the hard work that goes on here in keeping this fruit farm alive and well. Well worth a visit by adults and children alike! For more information on Sweetbank Farm why not check out their website www.sweetbankfarm.ie
